Pros
- Kaju Varo provides a perfect tranquil escape from the hectic social activity of the beach just 400 m away as the crow flies. Perfect if rented as a whole for Yoga Retreats, Family Reunion Holidays, Corporate Workshops, Small Niche Weddings and just for any group of up to 25 people.
(When not rented as a whole 11 original villa-suites may be rented for very reasonable prices by luxury standards. you can even have your own private swimming pool and dining area.) - Arguably Goa’s best fine dining courtesy resident master chefs. Several outdoor pools and lounging places, so larger groups can split up and not be in each others faces 24x7. Child Friendly with baby cots and babysitting by appointment.
- Ashwem beach is arguably the most exclusive, jet-set-trendy, happening beach in North Goa. Kaju Varo is almost inarguably the most exclusive group luxury facility in the region.
Cons
- Not suitable if you don’t like nature. It’s located in an orchard with scores of trees and birds and even the occasional troop of monkeys swinging through. Privacy can be impaired if you don’t rent the whole place and have a noisy neighbour in the next villa.
(Still very exclusive by beach standards, but not the same as having the whole place to yourself) - Definitely not the place if you are a starred hotel resort type who wants reception rooms, manicured gardens and swimming pools with blue tiles. Kaju Varo offers designed minimalist rustic luxury.
- It’s not bang on the beach and has no sea views. You need to walk about 3 minutes to the beach. electric scooters which do not require a license can be rented from the property. We actually do not advise staying on the beach because of sound pollution at night which makes normal sleep impossible.

Music for parties is allowed after 10pm but only with prior agreement.
Pets are allowed if the client has an exclusive booking for the entire property.
However, since there are also house dogs the guest dogs must use a kennel which can be provided, and must be kept on a leash if required.
FOr use of the entire property exclusively, and bringing in ether pets or organising parties, there will be a 25,000 INR per night exclusivity charge.
Events with non-residents that are staged at the property, will be charged on a case by case basis.
Please make sure to inform us at the time of booking, in writing, of any special needs such as allergies, the handicapped status of guests, phobias, and any special drinks or meals required on arrival.
We cannot provide last minute transportation to and from the property, so please make any such requests at the time of booking.
